Hot Chip Talks New Album, Releases “Take It In”
February 9th marks the release date for Hot Chips new album One Life Stand c/o Astralwerks. As of right now only UK dates are set for the blustery February month, but you can expect shows across the US to get announced soon enough. In the meantime, let’s all feast on the first release from the album, entitled “Take It In”, which is both really good and really available below. (tour dates after the break)

R.I.P Jerry Fuchs
34-year-old Athens, GA native Jerry Fuchs died Saturday, Nov 7th after falling down an elevator shaft. Best known for bringing the drums alive for bands such as !!!, the Juan MacLean, Maserati, and Turning Machine,  Fuch’s accident occurred after he and a friend tried to jump out of an elevator stuck between floors.

Nana Grizol Tour + New Album +  New Track!
Athens,  GA’s Nana Grizol are one of our favorite music-makers here at DustSleeve which is why we’re both psyched and bummed that Nana Grizol are out on the road RIGHT NOW as we speak. Psyched, because a new tour means a new album – Ruth, out january 12th on Orange Twin Records – and bummed because the tour doesn’t land anywhere near Cleveland. I guess we’ll have to make due with the first available track from Ruth, entitled “For Things That Haven’t Come Yet”, below. (tour dates after the break)

Solange Knowles Covers The Dirty Projectors
Looks like Solange is as hip on indie music as her sister Beyonce, a known Grizzly Bear concert attender. Check out the younger Knowles sister covering The Dirty Projectors’ “Stillness Is The Move”, below.
