If you’re a fan of either the Juno soundtrack or anti-folk as a whole, then you’ve probably sung along with a Green song or two under the band name The Moldy Peaches. Back in 2004 Adam ditched Kimya Dawson to concentrate on his solo work, which come 2010 we’lll find him 6 LP’s deep into.
His next album, Minor Love hits shelves February 16th courtesy of Fat Possum Records – but don’t expect the cutesy acoustic stuff of Kimya or the Moldy Peaches. With the help of electric guitars, rock n’ roll rhythms, and a deeper semi-snarky voice Green combines his simplistic anti-folk flare with a more traditionally alternative sound. And we like it.
